I was teaching a class the other day and one of the participants asked when they would see change in their loved one after med compliance.
I wish I could have said something easy like the next day, but anyone who has experienced this knows how complicated that answer is.
Meds react differently in everyone, and sometimes it takes time for doctors to find the correct med combo. It's a process that really can't be defined with a start to end time, which could make you feel stuck in a loop.
This is where you have to meet people where they are and redefine what you consider progress.
Progress can be something as small as getting out the bed that day or as big as returning back to work. Either way, keep looking forward and count every single step.

Thank you for this honest and thoughtful reflection. As a visitor, I truly appreciated your perspective on how progress doesn’t always look like big, visible achievements. Your post helped me rethink my own expectations and reminded me to value the small, quiet victories in life. The way you describe growth as something personal and evolving is both inspiring and comforting. It’s empowering to read content that validates the non-linear nature of progress. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of your encouraging and insightful posts!.
